Our face to face bookings are normally booked out at least a week in advance, HOWEVER, we have on the day appointments available VIA TELEHEALTH with three very experienced telehealth doctors. There are very few illnesses that cannot be treated via telehealth. The cost for a telehealth consult is the same as face to face consultations, the only difference is that the medicare rebate is put in to your bank account (your medicare card must be connected to your account). If the telehealth doctor needs you to see a doctor face to face, they will bulk bill the telehealth appointment. Click on MAKE A BOOKING button above to make an appointment.

Bauhinia Health contracts GPs to deliver comprehensive primary health care where you are at the centre of your care.
As a team we are all working towards outcomes that focus on and provide the greatest benefit to your health and wellbeing.
SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS
Obtaining sufficient doctors to ensure that you can see a GP on the day you need to is not always possible.
We do however, offer a limited number of appointments each day for urgent cases.
WORLD CLASS FACILITIES
Bauhinia Health Clinic has been set up with optimal medical equipment, a procedure room, an emergency room and a dedicated telehealth centre.
It is also an extremely beautiful facility that aims to provide patients with optimal privacy.
EXPERT DOCTORS
The GPs working in our facility are all also qualified in other specialties.
Our doctors offer each patient an extraordinary level of care that goes beyond general practice, with the sole focus of supporting your health and wellbeing.
COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES
Patient-centred care means you shouldn’t have to travel to access other health and wellbeing services.
Pathology services are in-house.
We are also bringing specialists to our clinic to make referrals easier, along with monthly audiology and optometry services .
MEET THE TEAM AT BAUHINIA HEALTH
All of our doctors and specialists are independent medical practitioners who subscribe to our philosophy of providing quality patient-centred care.
We were very excited when Dr Banner mentioned that she doesn’t like winter in South Australia and therefore has no intention of returning to Adelaide!

With special interests in women’s health and emergency medicine, Dr Banner also works at Katherine Hospital in both the maternity and emergency departments, as well as delivering remote women’s outreach to surrounding communities.
Having graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010, Dr Banner is an amazing addition to the team at Bauhinia Health. When visiting Dr Banner at the clinic, all members of the community can rest assured that they’ll receive dedicated and quality service.
Given that Dr Banner enjoys horse riding, bush walking and playing music in her spare time, we’re confident that the Katherine region and community is the perfect fit!

Dr Catherine White completed her GP Fellowship in Adelaide 2021. After locum work in Katherine 2022-23, she and her family made the move and are now proud Territorians.
Dr White has a special interest in detailed Skin Checks and Skin Cancer Care.
Outside of work Dr White enjoys letter-writing, cross-stitching, swimming and gardening, and is an active member of a local church.

Dr Jo moved to Brisbane from the UK in 2018. As an experienced GP in the NHS and now in Brisbane, she is keen to provide a service to the community of Katherine, and we are very pleased that she can.
Whilst her interests are in women’s health, mental health and chronic disease, as all our GP’s – she is happy to see you for any medical issue you wish to discuss.

I am a highly motivated and experienced registrar with a strong passion for general practice.
I graduated from Manipal University, India in 2011. After completing my medical degree, I underwent an 18-month internship program in India and a 12-month internship program in Sri Lanka, after which I continued to work in a variety of clinical settings, both in rural and metropolitan areas in Sri Lanka. I migrated to Australia in 2019. I have over 10 years of experience working in hospitals and clinical settings in Australia, Sri Lanka, and India.
During my training, I have gained experience in a wide range of clinical areas, including women’s health, paediatrics, geriatrics, and mental health.
MBBS
I am an enthusiastic doctor hoping to optimise health in a broad range of patients within
general practice. Over the last 4 years I have been working towards building a broad and diverse
experience and knowledge base by working in both urban and regional hospitals. I hope to further this
by working as a registrar in a supportive clinical environment.
I have an interest in lifestyle and
preventative health to prevent and minimise chronic diseases as well as all aspects of general practice.
